Mr. Pires is a vice president of asset management for KBS. Mr. Pires serves as the market leader responsible for carrying out all investment objectives throughout the Midwest on behalf of KBS’s public and private real estate investment funds. Within these markets, Mr. Pires is responsible for the execution of strategic business plans for each of the assets within his portfolio along with new acquisition opportunities and joint-venture partnerships.

Since joining KBS in 2018, in addition to his current responsibilities overseeing all activities in several Midwest markets, Mr. Pires has assisted with the acquisition and management of more than 7 million square feet of space in the Northern California, Pacific Northwest, and Colorado markets.

Prior to KBS, Mr. Pires worked at CrossHarbor Capital Partners where he focused on acquisition and asset management efforts throughout the US across various asset types, including office, hospitality, multifamily, and industrial. Mr. Pires began his career at CBRE, working with the capital markets teams, where he focused on underwriting office, retail, industrial, and multifamily investments.

Mr. Pires graduated from Chapman University where he earned a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate and Finance.
