Employees at KBS Realty Advisors recently donated 100 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana in Orange County, California.
This is the second year in a row KBS participated in the backpack drive. About 50 employees donated supplies while 20 filled the backpacks. KBS executives who participated included Western Regional President Gio Cordoves and David Zamudio, executive vice president of human resources. KBS employees Shelley Gardewick, Jeffrey Brack, Jessica Castilla–Kim, Verona Chua and Josh Fee also took part.
In addition to distributing the backpacks, the Boys & Girls Club provided more than 1,000 new books to students and delivered 25-pound food boxes, hygiene kits and self-care products to 250 families.
