NEWPORT BEACH, CA (June 09, 2026)KBS, one of the largest owners and operators of premier commercial real estate buildings in the nation, today announced it has rehired Katy Grober as vice president, investment manager for its Mid-Atlantic region. Grober previously served in several roles within KBS’ investment management team. The move underscores the firm’s culture of mentorship, long-term career growth and lasting relationships with top industry talent, according to Marc DeLuca, KBS’ CEO and regional president, Eastern U.S.

“Katy played a key role in our investment management team in the Mid-Atlantic and brings valuable experience that will directly support performance across the portfolio,” says DeLuca. “Her return also reflects the strength of our culture and the long-term relationships we build across the industry.”

In her role, Grober oversees a portfolio of office assets spanning Northern Virginia, suburban Maryland, suburban Philadelphia and KBS’ largest asset in Chicago – Accenture Tower. She is responsible for advancing asset-level strategy, operating performance and execution across the portfolio, including leasing, capital planning and long-term value creation. She also works closely with internal teams and third-party property managers to ensure alignment with investment objectives and performance expectations.

Originally joining KBS in 2013 as a regional administrator, Grober advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including investment analyst, investment associate and senior investment associate. She worked closely with DeLuca and Allen Aldridge, senior vice president, acquisitions and co-director of investment management, before departing in 2024 to pursue additional real estate experience. She rejoined KBS in early 2026.

“My time away broadened my experience and provided new perspectives, and I’m excited to apply that as I take on a larger role within the organization,” says Grober. “I stayed in close contact with many of my colleagues at KBS after I left, so when the opportunity to return presented itself, it felt like a natural next step.”

KBS continues to prioritize developing talent and fostering long-term career growth across its platform.

“KBS is built on a collaborative culture where professionals have the opportunity to grow and take on expanded responsibilities over time,” says Aldridge. “Katy’s return reflects the strength of those relationships and the value of investing in our people.”
