In its ongoing effort to combat continuing inflation, the Federal Reserve boosted its effective federal funds rate (EFFR) for a fifth time in September 2022. The inflation/rate hike combination has led to ongoing questions and concerns about the impact on commercial real estate, sales volumes and cap rates.
